A Beautiful Historic Town

.Located in the heart of Victoria’s Goldfields Region, Maryborough is close to Bendigo, Ballarat, Castlemaine and Daylesford, where contemporary architecture blends with the ornate facades of the Gold Rush era buildings built in the nineteenth century.

Maryborough has four supermarkets and all the services that you would expect from a much larger regional center. It is set amongst beautiful state parks with attractions such as walking trails, a rich gold history that would tempt the most keen prospector. For fishing and recreation we are spoiled for choice with many lakes available. Three of the lakes are within the town boundary and within walking distance of the village. A much valued train service to Melbourne and other public transport to suit your needs. The town has available all the sporting and recreational facilities available, and our village is only a minute away from a very large sport & swimming pool complex.

The local golf course and bowls club are only 1.5km from the Schoolhouse where you can sit back and relax in Bunkers Restaurant, or in the club lounge & bar after a day on the green. Tennis, swimming, shopping, bushwalking, fishing, croquet and more are all less than 1km away. The town library, newly refurbished cinema, Information Centre, hospital, churches are all within easy walking distance.
